name of the book: The Butterfly lion Author:  Michael Mopurgo Genre: Children's book Characters:  Bertie,Millie,The White prince Setting:  Timbavati in Africa,England,France Summary:  The Butterfly lion is about a boy who saves a lion in Africa. Bertie's dad didn't like the white lion  but Bertie had no brothers and sisters. Also since the white lion came to his house his mom wasn't sad anymore. Before the white lion Bertie's mom was always sad. When Bertie got older his dad sent him to boarding school but before he went to boarding school a French man came to see the white lion and took him to England for a circus.

Our visit to the Sinai Academy

Last week we visited the Sinai Academy in Bloubergrant. It was a very interesting outing. We first thing we did was we went to the synagogue.We saw the Rabbi.He showed us the Torah scrolls. When we left the Synagogue we went to the senior school.They gave us an introduction. They showed us what they do on Shabbat. They light the candles and they move there arms three times around the candles. They wash there  hands three times on each hand. Then they pray in Hebrew and then they eat the challah bread and drink the grape juice. They also sang a song. I really enjoyed our visit. I hope we see you again.

The grade 4 camp

Last week we were on camp.We went to Simonsberg Christian Centre. On Monday morning, went on the bus and before we went to camp we went to Giraffe House. We had lunch and we played for a bit.Then we went to see the giraffe's and the zebra's. After that we went for a show about animals.The first thing we saw was an ostrich egg and a chicken egg.The second thing we saw was a frog. Some of the girls kissed the frog witch I thought was really disgusting.After Giraffe house we went to camp.We settled down and played outside.Some of the boys were very very dirty.We changed our clothes and some of us played soccer. Some people thought that there was a bad guy in the camp.So almost every body was afraid to go in the forest.A few boys started a club to find the bad guy.We also started with our out door stuff. Camp was crazy.I hope go again.
